Her book "Washington Curiosities" has more than 200 features that make Washington such a kooky state, from the shrine to the Jolly Green Giant to the Whoop-N-Holler Ranch and Museum. Sponsored by Humanities Washington.

Sunday Jazz at the Library welcomes Dillinger’s Clambake, a “new era” swing band that mixes styles of ballroom and jitterbug to rock ‘n’ roll and funk. Their eclectic selection of American Dance Hall repertoire appeals to a wide generation of listeners. "This is part of the monthly concert series sponsored by the Manieri Jazz Endowment."

Computer skills classes using our mobile learning lab will include Beginning Computers & Internet Basics (for those with no computer experience), Exploring the Library Website, Efficient Internet Searching, and Online Information Resources Everyone Should Know. Classes are free, and laptops will be provided.
